Raspberry Realty Closing Gifts
We recently sat down with Raspberry Realty Group to create custom—and fantastically pink!—closing gifts for homebuyers.
At Gray Jay Gifts, gift giving is a thoughtful process that helps build meaningful relationships. That's why it's important for us to chat with our clients and understand the intentions behind their personalized gifts so that we can create something that leaves a lasting impression. After meeting with Raspberry Reality's team, it was clear that our goals aligned: What's on the inside—enjoyable, useful gifts chosen specially for their recipients—is what counts, but that doesn't mean we can't have pretty-in-pink packaging—branding that keeps a company top of mind with their clients—on the outside.
In conversation, we were struck not only by Raspberry's vibrant branding, but also their desire to celebrate clients with gifts they can spoil themselves with in their new homes. With celebration and self-care in mind, we set to work choosing items to mark the special occasion of taking possession of a home with a Raspberry Realty twist!
The project
Raspberry Realty Group (not your average realtors!) describes themself as "trendy meets clever." We helped them create 30 custom gifts, each with touches of Raspberry's signature flair, for clients taking possession of their newly-purchased homes.

Fantastically practical and pink. By attaching the brand's signature colour to an everyday item like a tea towel, Raspberry stays top of mind with recipients because of the psychology of colour: Customers subconsciously associate colours with brands, so pairing the brand's signature colour with an item recipients interact with daily encourages that association to grow.
Beyond having an excellent eye for colour, line, and pattern, Banquet Atelier & Workshop's creative duo donate a percentage of their earnings (in addition to some of their products) to various organizations addressing issues such as gender-based violence and food insecurity.

"Champagne on the Brain" candle

A celebratory scent to mark the occasion, and a nod to Raspberry Realty's trendy branding. It's an invitation for homeowners to light a candle, relax, and enjoy the scent; then, once it's fully burned, clients can repurpose the sleek, glass dish (as a planter, a catch-all, etc.), helping Raspberry Realty Group to be a happy presence in the home.

C'est Bonbon
Candies that are both delicious and wonderfully on-brand. A sweet treat equally enjoyed—but not necessarily equally divided!—by solo homeowners and families alike.

Mindful that not all of their clients are tickled pink by, well, pink, we worked with Raspberry Realty to include a number of Oilers-themed game night giftboxes to ensure no client felt overlooked or forgotten (three cheers for Raspberry Realty for prioritizing the receiver, not the gift giver!).
